Almost half of the world's original expanse of tropical forests has been cleared and within next 30 years there may be a very little forest. Near about 50% of the worlds wet lands had been drained, built upon or seriously polluted. Because of human activities 36,500 species of plants and animals extinct every year. Environmental degradation causes 10 Million people every year to become homeless. Almost 61,000 Sqr. Kilometers of New Deserts are formed every year and about 8.1 Million Sqr.
